Each of these pieces are a one-of-a-kind work of art in every way starting with the uncropped "Kasai velvet" pillows that determine their size. The pillows are filled with the highest quality 50/50 down and backed with pigsuede. The bases are covered in a matching pigsuede and with their slightly bowed hand finished legs, they resemble the African "Okapai". The pillows are finished with tassels made with very old trade beads from Nurano, Italy often incorporating amber hair ornaments. |
