The Kuba-Okapi pieces resemble the African "Okapi" with their slightly bowled hand finished legs. Topped with their boldly designed Kuba pillows displaying energetic appliques, each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art. The exciting Kuba pillows are created from wraparound skirt fragments made of a soft raffia matting. The pillows back and base are covered with matching pigsuede and finished with tassels using antique whorl beads and hand pulled raffia threads pulled from pieces of Kuba fragment. |
